Square Enix Details TGS 2025 Lineup With Demos, Stage Shows and Fan Events

Hands-on access spotlights near-release games, complemented by timed broadcasts plus photo meet-ups across flagship series.

  • Tokyo Game Show 2025 runs September 25–28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, and Square Enix has published its official site with the full lineup and stage schedule.
  • Nine titles are slated: The Adventures of Elliot, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, Dragon Quest X Online, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Final Fantasy XIV Online, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, KILLER INN, and Octopath Traveler 0.
  • Most games, including many on Switch and Switch 2, will be playable on the show floor, with Final Fantasy Tactics available ahead of its September 30 launch.
  • Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake features demos, a Dragonlord photo meet-and-greet, and freebies, with a special stage on September 27 at 15:30 JST featuring creator Yuji Horii; Octopath Traveler 0 has a broadcast the same day at 11:30 JST.
  • Final Fantasy XIV offers photo spots, mascot meet-ups, and a social campaign, with a special stage on September 28, while outlets differ on which online RPG lacks a demo alongside Octopath Traveler 0.
