Overview

• Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake launches October 30 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, with a $99.99 digital Erdrick Trilogy bundle collecting all three remakes.
• New scroll items found during exploration teach character-specific spells and skills, such as the DQ1 hero learning Dragon Slash.
• The five sigils (Sun, Star, Moon, Water, Soul) return across both games and grant conditional battle effects, including critical hits from the Sun Sigil.
• The Soul Sigil can upgrade abilities when conditions are met, with Dragon Slash shown evolving into Double Dragon Slash.
• An optional suggested-actions setting surfaces effective moves in combat, and Dragon Quest II adds the Princess of Cannock as a playable caster specializing in Frizz- and Crack-type spells.
