Sprout Organics, one of the major baby food manufacturers in the United States, has recalled pouches of sweet potato, apple and spinach flavored baby food sold in the U.S. South because of lead content.
An organic baby food brand sold in Texas grocery stores is undergoing a nationwide recall due to potential lead contamination, according to an announcement from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

  • Recall covers Sprout Organics Sweet Potato, Apple & Spinach 3.5‑oz pouches with Lot Code 4212 and expiration date 10/29/2025.
