Spotify Rolls Out In-App Playlist Imports via TuneMyMusic

Mobile users can copy playlists from rival services into Spotify using a new “Import your music” option.

Overview

  • The feature is rolling out globally on Spotify’s mobile app, appearing at the bottom of the Your Library tab.
  • Selecting “Import your music” opens a native TuneMyMusic flow in an in‑app browser to link accounts and transfer playlists.
  • At launch, supported sources include Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, Pandora, SoundCloud, and others.
  • Transfers copy playlists into Spotify without removing the originals from the source service.
  • The in‑app process can bypass typical third‑party track limits for imports into Spotify, and the companies have not disclosed deal terms.
