Spotify Launches Reserved to Let Top Fans Buy Concert Tickets Before Public Sale

The company says the feature will use listening and interaction signals to give selected Premium users a limited pre-sale window intended to reduce bots and reselling.

Overview

  • Spotify unveiled Reserved at its Investor Day in late May 2026 to offer selected users early access to tickets for participating tours.
  • The system will score in-app behavior — plays, time listened, shares, follows and other interactions — to identify eligible “true fans.”
  • Chosen Premium subscribers aged 18 and over can buy up to two tickets during a short exclusive window, generally about a day before public sale.
  • Purchases are completed on external ticketing partners’ sites so fees, refunds, delivery and ticket policies remain governed by those partners.
  • Spotify says Reserved works with more than 40 ticket partners and has already driven over €1 million in ticket sales for artists, and the company plans a phased U.S.-first rollout with expansion to other markets to watch for.
