Spotify Launches New 'Jam' Feature For Real-Time Group Playback Of Shared Playlists

Spotify has introduced a new social listening feature called Jam that allows up to 32 users to listen together in real time.
Premium subscribers can start a Jam session, invite others via sharing a link, and control the shared playlist queue.
Both free and Premium Spotify users can join Jam sessions and contribute tracks to the real-time playlist.
Jam syncs playback so all participants hear songs at the same time, and incorporates recommendations based on the group's tastes.
The feature launched globally on September 26, 2023, expanding Spotify's offerings for shared and social listening.
