Spotify Launches Fresh Finds Forward to Support 10,000 Emerging Artists

The year-long program pairs editorial placements with studio time, digital tools, tour support plus mental-health services to help playlist discovery turn into sustained careers.

Overview

  • Spotify announced Fresh Finds Forward on Thursday, September 17, 2026, and artists added to Fresh Finds from January 1, 2026 can enroll to receive 12 months of program benefits.
  • The program will invite roughly 10,000 eligible independent and early-career artists each year and deliver resources such as free U.S. studio time, early access to Spotify tools, prioritized tour and video partnerships, and six months of therapy through BetterHelp.
  • Access is managed through Spotify for Artists, with editorial teams selecting placements and invitations issued to qualifying artists who can pitch upcoming releases to be considered for Fresh Finds.
  • Spotify is supplying benefits through partner services including Electric Lady Studios, The Lighthouse at Ocean Way Nashville, Spotify Studios LA, LANDR and Splice, providing in-kind support rather than cash advances.
  • Fresh Finds builds on a decade of editorial discovery that has helped more than 80,000 artists in 127 countries and driven over 128 million new artist discoveries since 2024, a track record Spotify says positions the program to turn short-term exposure into longer careers.
