- Spotify, which announced the Save to Spotify CLI on Thursday, opened a beta that lets AI agents create private Personal Podcasts saved to a user's library.
- Users install the CLI from GitHub, sign in to Spotify in a browser, then ask their agent to generate audio and save a playable episode with a shareable link.
- The beta works with agents such as OpenClaw, Anthropic’s Claude Code, and OpenAI Codex on desktop.
- Agents can draw on a calendar, inbox, notes, files, saved articles, or recent searches to tailor briefings or study guides, and the episodes remain private and sync across devices.
- Access is available to eligible Free and Premium accounts worldwide with usage limits during testing, positioning Spotify as a hub for both public and personal audio.
