Overview

  • Premium subscription rates have risen to €12.99 for Individual, €17.99 for Duo, €21.99 for Family and €6.99 for Student plans.
  • New prices apply immediately to new customers, while existing subscribers receive emails requesting consent and will face higher charges starting November 15 if they agree.
  • Subscribers who do not consent risk cancellation of their Premium plan and automatic downgrade to Spotify’s free, ad-supported tier.
  • Select existing users are offered a one-time Basic plan at legacy Premium prices that excludes the 12 monthly audiobook hours.
  • Spotify says the increases are needed to invest in content and features, even though its long-promised HiFi offering remains unavailable.
