Nintendo has announced that the second wave of the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass, titled 'Side Order', will be released on February 22, 2024.
In 'Side Order', players will take on the role of Agent 8, who must climb the Spire of Order after Inkopolis Square loses all color and its residents disappear.
Agent 8 will be accompanied by a drone who claims to be Pearl, a character from the previous game, and will meet a new character named Acht.
The gameplay in 'Side Order' is designed to be replayed multiple times, suggesting elements of roguelike or roguelite gameplay.
The announcement was made via a cinematic trailer, with no gameplay footage shown.
