Splatoon 3 Releases Patch 11.0.1 With Control and Multiplayer Fixes

The follow-up targets control quirks to restore Flow Aura visibility after last week’s overhaul.

Overview

  • Nintendo rolled out version 11.0.1 on February 4, delivering targeted fixes following the major 11.0.0 update.
  • Player-control fixes address Blaster explosion hit detection, unintended controller vibration, and S-BLAST ’91/’92 terrain-hit sound effects.
  • A multiplayer display issue was corrected so the ink at a player’s feet when entering or extending Flow Aura now appears on other players’ screens.
  • Battle replays recorded on version 11.0.0 remain compatible, while replays from version 10.1.0 or earlier are not supported.
  • The broader 11.0.0 changes remain in effect, including the new Flow Aura mechanic, short-lived opponent health displays, collision tweaks, and weapon/special adjustments such as faster L-3 Nozzlenose shots and a larger 220-damage Reefslider radius with a shorter charge distance.
