  • State WARN filings outline airport impacts including 393 in Las Vegas, 173 in Houston, 103 in Detroit, more than 60 in Chicago, over 330 in Atlanta, and nearly 800 across Florida with 300+ in Fort Lauderdale, 350 in Orlando, and 71 in Miami.
  • Company notices call the furloughs temporary with an unknown duration and subject to collective bargaining agreements and bumping rights, and employees will be unpaid while on leave.
  • The Association of Flight Attendants says six- or 12-month voluntary furloughs will be offered starting Nov. 1 before seniority-based involuntary furloughs begin Dec. 1.
