  • Spirit confirmed the MSP withdrawal is part of its ongoing restructuring following its second bankruptcy filing in a year.
  • Service in 11 U.S. cities will cease on Oct. 2, and a planned launch in Macon, Georgia, has been canceled.
  • Flights to Hartford’s Bradley International Airport will end on Oct. 31, the company said.
  • The airline plans to reduce capacity by about 25% in November under its revised schedule.
  • About one-third of Spirit’s roughly 5,200 flight attendants face layoffs, and affected customers will be contacted for refunds.
