- Spire Motorsports has parted ways with rookie Andrés Pérez de Lara and will not field its No. 07 truck for the rest of the 2025 season.
- In consultation with NASCAR, the team shifted owner’s points from the No. 07 to its No. 77 Chevrolet and appointed veteran Corey LaJoie to drive it for the final eight races.
- Spire will operate a three-truck stable featuring Nos. 7, 71 and 77 as it pursues both owner’s and driver’s championships in the Craftsman Truck Series.
- Niece Motorsports confirmed signing Pérez to pilot its Telcel-backed No. 44 Silverado with Wally Rogers as crew chief through the regular-season finale on August 15.
- Pérez has recorded two top-10 finishes in 17 starts this season and must win at Richmond Raceway to clinch a spot in the Truck Series playoffs.
