Spinal Tap Sequel 'The End Continues' Set for September Release

The iconic mockumentary band reunites for one final concert, with cameos from Elton John, Paul McCartney, and more.

Spinal Tap II: The End Continues will hit theaters on September 12, 2025, with U.S. distribution by Bleecker Street.
The sequel brings back original cast members Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, and director Rob Reiner, reprising their roles from the 1984 cult classic.
The storyline follows the fictional band reuniting after a 15-year hiatus for one last concert, with Reiner’s character Marty DiBergi documenting the event.
Cameos include music legends Elton John, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and Trisha Yearwood, alongside returning and new supporting cast members.
A newly restored version of the original This Is Spinal Tap will be re-released in theaters and on streaming platforms ahead of the sequel.
