- The film held its Los Angeles premiere at the Academy Museum on Nov. 18, introduced by producer Steven Spielberg alongside Chloé Zhao.
- Spielberg urged support for keeping theaters open to intimate dramas and called Hamnet a “little miracle” he was proud to produce.
- Focus Features will open the film in limited U.S. release in late November with a wider expansion in December, following preview screenings such as Nov. 24 in San Francisco.
