SpiceJet Passenger Trapped in Airplane Bathroom for Over an Hour

Passenger considers legal action against airline, claiming injury and lack of medical aid

A passenger on a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru was trapped in the airplane's bathroom for over an hour due to a door lock malfunction.
The crew attempted to open the door from the outside but were unsuccessful. They communicated with the passenger by slipping a note under the door, advising him to remain calm and secure himself by sitting on the closed toilet lid.
Upon landing, an engineer was able to open the bathroom door and the passenger was provided with immediate medical support.
SpiceJet has expressed regret and apologized for the incident, promising a full refund to the passenger.
The passenger, however, claims he was injured during the landing and received no medical aid. He is considering legal action against the airline.
