Octavian Cadar sentenced to 10 years for killing Vanessa Sagnay de la Bastida in London crash

Cadar was driving at more than double the speed limit when he hit Sagnay de la Bastida.
The victim, a psychologist, was crossing the road with her fiancé when the accident occurred.
Cadar initially blamed the couple for the crash but later admitted fault during the trial.
The court heard emotional statements from the victim's fiancé and mother about their loss.
Cadar was also banned from driving for over 10 years and must pass an advanced test to regain his license.
