Speeding Car Crashes Into San Francisco Building After Flying Off Bay Bridge Exit

The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was hospitalized after her car damaged the second and third floors of the Clocktower Lofts.

A woman driving at an unsafe speed lost control of her car on the Harrison Street off-ramp of the Oakland Bay Bridge, causing the car to flip over the wall and crash into the second and third floors of a nearby building.
The car caused significant damage to the building, known as Clocktower Lofts, before falling onto the Sterling Street on-ramp below.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the car, was wearing a seatbelt and was extricated from the vehicle before being transported to the hospital.
The condition of the driver is currently unknown.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
