  • The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Hutchins’ ATV was speeding when it rear-ended another vehicle, causing it to veer off the road.
  • The collision occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Decker Canyon Road, a public stretch about a mile north of Pacific Coast Highway, and sent the ATV plunging 350 feet into a ravine.
  • Deputies deployed drones to locate Hutchins’ body, and she was pronounced dead at the scene with no one else injured.
