Spectrum TV Select Customers Now Have Access to Disney+

The inclusion follows a landmark deal between Charter Communications and the Walt Disney Company, which also plans to add ESPN+ to Spectrum packages in the coming months.

Spectrum TV Select customers now have access to the ad-supported version of Disney+ at no additional cost, as part of a deal between Charter Communications and the Walt Disney Company.
The deal, reached in September 2023, also resolved a carriage dispute that had resulted in a blackout of Disney channels for nearly 15 million Spectrum subscribers.
Charter plans to include ESPN+ in its Spectrum TV Select Plus package in the coming months.
Some of Disney’s cable channels, including Freeform, FXX, Disney Junior and Nat Geo Wild, will no longer be offered on Spectrum.
Charter Communications reported a loss of 327,000 pay TV subscribers during the third quarter of 2023, partly due to the temporary loss of Disney programming.
