Overview

• Former President Yoon Suk Yeol has been summoned for Wednesday questioning on treason and insurrection allegations tied to an October 2024 drone operation targeting Pyongyang, his first treason-focused session.
• Investigators suspect Yoon instructed Maj. Gen. Kim Yong-dae to execute the mission outside the defense ministry and Joint Chiefs of Staff chain of command to provoke the North.
