Overview
- Speaker J. C. D. Prabhakar announced on Tuesday that he will not pursue disqualification under the Tenth Schedule against 21 AIADMK MLAs after party chief Edappadi K. Palaniswami submitted letters condoning their conduct.
- Prabhakar said disciplinary proceedings will continue against four MLAs who resigned from the Assembly and formally joined the ruling TVK, and he has notified the Election Commission so their seats are vacant and will face bypolls.
