Spanish Woman Returns to India to Find Biological Mother After 20 Years

21-year-old Sneha Enrique Vidal, adopted by a Spanish couple, searches for her birth mother in Odisha with limited time before returning to Spain.

Sneha Enrique Vidal, abandoned as a baby in Bhubaneswar in 2005, was adopted by a Spanish couple in 2010 along with her brother Somu.
Now a 21-year-old researcher in children's education, Sneha traveled to India with her adoptive mother to trace her biological roots.
The search focuses on locating her mother, Banalata Das, who left Sneha and her brother in a rented house after their father also abandoned the family.
Local police and community members have been assisting in the search, identifying Banalata Das and her ex-husband Santosh Das as being from Cuttack district.
With a day left before her scheduled return to Spain for educational commitments, Sneha plans to return to India in March if her mother is not found.
