Overview

• Overnight stays across apartments, campings, rural lodgings and hostels reached 22.3 million in July, up 3.8% year over year, INE reported.
• Non‑resident nights rose 9.5% as resident nights fell 1.8%, extending the shift toward international demand.
• Apartment stays increased 7.7% with non‑residents up 12.7% and residents down 0.4%, while the average stay edged down to 5.1 nights.
• Prices advanced across all categories in July, led by rural accommodation (+9.6%), followed by campings (+4.2%) and apartments (+1.2%).
• Regional patterns remained pronounced: the Canary Islands were the top apartment destination (+16.8% to 2.5 million nights) and the Balearic Islands posted the highest apartment occupancy (85.9%).
