- Mercadona will open with reduced hours on December 24 and 31 (9:00–19:00) and close on December 25 and Sunday December 28, with normal reopening on December 26.
- Carrefour lists general hypermarket hours of 10:00–22:00, shifting to 9:00–19:00 on December 24 and 31, and closing on December 25, January 1 and January 6.
- Catalonia’s commerce law mandates closures on December 25 and 26, with limited exceptions in designated tourist zones; Barcelona’s Maremàgnum is permitted to open.
- Alicante will run its four city markets on Wednesday December 24 and 31 from 08:00 to 14:00, replacing the usual Thursday openings and extending December 23 trading to 17:00.
