  • Spain welcomed 8.6 million international visitors in April, a 10.1% year-on-year increase and the highest April total on record.
  • Tourist spending reached a record €10.826 billion in April, up 14.1% from last year and lifting first-four-month outlays to €34.332 billion (+9.3%).
  • Arrivals in the January–April period hit 25.6 million, marking a 7.1% rise, with the UK, Germany and France remaining the top source markets.
  • The Canary Islands saw 1.323 million visitors in April (+11.9%) and Andalucía welcomed 1.389 million tourists (16.2% share) with its spending up 17.2%.
