Spain’s Auto Output Falls 7% Through August as Exports Drop

Anfac urges rapid rollout of Plan España Auto 2030-2035 to steady the sector.

  • Electrified models (BEV and PHEV) grew 4.1% to 145,096 units, representing 9.8% of output, as passenger cars fell 2.7% in July then rose 14.3% in August and commercial and industrial vehicles rose 21.2% in July then dropped 61.1% in August to 6,994 units.
