Spain Striker Alvaro Morata Joins Galatasaray on Loan from AC Milan

The 32-year-old captain of Spain's national team moves to Turkey with an option for a permanent transfer, as Milan prepares to replace him with Santiago Gimenez.

Galatasaray has signed Alvaro Morata on loan from AC Milan for 6 million euros, with the loan period running until January 2026.
The Turkish club has the option to make the transfer permanent for 8 million euros if exercised by January 15, 2026, or extend the loan until June 2026 with a second purchase option for 9 million euros.
Morata, who has struggled at Milan with six goals in 25 appearances this season, will earn 6 million euros per season if the purchase option is activated.
AC Milan is set to replace Morata with Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez, who is expected to join the club from Feyenoord for a reported fee of 32 million euros.
Galatasaray, currently leading the Turkish Super Lig, announced the move as part of their efforts to strengthen their squad for the ongoing season.
