Overview

  • The PAU commenced on June 3 for over 270,000 students, with the Canary Islands and Catalonia starting on June 4 and June 11–13, respectively.
  • The new format replaces pandemic-era optional proposals with a single exam model per subject to standardize assessment nationwide.
  • At least 25% of each exam now comprises competency-based questions requiring students to apply concepts rather than recall facts.
  • Stricter spelling error penalties allow up to two-point deductions in language exams and proportional penalties in other subjects.
  • Results will be published on June 12 with a review window open through June 16.
