- Andalusia receives 912 places within the national total, with 80 assigned to units in the province of Córdoba, according to the regional breakdown.
- Candidates must be 18–28 years old without turning 29 before 4 May 2026, hold an ESO or equivalent qualification, and have no criminal record.
- Selection follows a two-phase concurso-oposición with merits and psychotechnical testing followed by personality, medical and physical assessments, and successful applicants enter training on 4 May before joining units on 10 July; initial contracts run three years with renewal, promotion and inter-agency transfer options.
