Overview

  • Most regions will hold PAU exams June 3-5; Catalonia follows on June 11-13, with results out by June 13 and revision requests closing June 18.
  • Each subject exam blends open-ended, semi-structured and closed questions, limiting multiple-choice to 30% of the total.
  • Spelling and grammatical errors now incur uniform deductions of up to 10%, rising to 20% in native-language tests.
  • University admission scores remain a 60% Bachillerato and 40% PAU split, with up to three voluntary tests available to boost rankings.
  • Educators and the CRUE are urging standardized grading criteria as students warn that higher difficulty may depress overall marks.
