Overview

  • Spain’s Social Security confirms that involuntary early retirement at 62 requires at least 33 years of contributions and six months of unemployment registration
  • Workers retiring at 62 with a €1,100 contribution base will receive about €836 gross (net €770–820) per month after applying a 24% penalty for four years of anticipation
  • Argentina’s ANSES will apply a 1.6% CPI-linked increase to all pensions in August and continue the ARS 70,000 bonus for minimum-income retirees, while a Senate-approved ARS 110,000 bonus awaits a presidential veto
  • Pensioners who obtained benefits above the minimum through court rulings will lose the ARS 70,000 bonus starting in August under ANSES’s revised eligibility criteria
  • In Mexico the Pensión del Bienestar is being disbursed bimonthly according to an alphabetical calendar and the Pensión Mujeres Bienestar will open registrations from August 4 to 30 for women aged 60 to 62
