  • The new call allocates 9,276 MIR spots, 2,279 EIR positions and smaller quotas in pharmacy, psychology, chemistry, biology and physics.
  • Selective exams are scheduled for January 24, 2026, starting two hours earlier than before and reducing venues from 28 to 22.
  • Dedicated quotas reserve hundreds of positions for applicants with disabilities and those without Spanish residence authorization, with 928 spots each in the MIR program.
  • Regional measures include Castilla y León’s loyalty program retaining 223 recent residents and Murcia adding 438 slots, including the first four urgencies specialty positions.
