Overview

  • Adif AV has secured a €6 031 858.36 contract from the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility to extend Segovia-Guiomar’s P1 parking by 8 000 m².
  • The expansion will add 306 car spaces and 10 motorcycle spots to P1 and raise total station parking capacity from around 565 to 875 spaces.
  • Sixteen of the new parking bays will include electric vehicle chargers and two of the 10 mobility-reduced spaces will support EV charging.
  • Access roads will be reorganized with a new dual-entry point to P1, dual exit lanes and a two-lane roundabout to ease traffic congestion.
  • The station forecourt will be urbanized with improved sidewalks, bus shelters, Kiss&Train drop-off zones, secure bike and scooter parking and a relocated 'Ola a Ritmo de Txalaparta' sculpture.
