SpaceX Targets Vandenberg Starlink Launch as Starship Flight 10 Readies for Sunday

Overview

  • Liftoff from Space Launch Complex 4E is targeted for 10:02 a.m. PDT Friday within a four-hour window that opens at 8:44 a.m.
  • The Falcon 9 will carry 24 Starlink V2 Mini satellites, with booster B1081 aiming to land on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You.
  • Vandenberg officials warned residents in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Ventura counties that sonic booms may be heard.
  • If successful, the flight would be the 27th Starlink launch from Vandenberg this year and would raise SpaceX’s 2025 Starlink total to more than 1,800 spacecraft.
  • Starship Flight 10 is slated for Sunday with plans to test reentry hardware, attempt an in-space Raptor relight, deploy eight Starlink simulators, and target splashdowns for Super Heavy in the Gulf of Mexico and for Ship in the Indian Ocean.
