SpaceX Targets Two Starlink Falcon 9 Launches From Florida Tonight

Both missions carry 29 satellites using veteran boosters set for drone-ship landings under a highly favorable forecast.

  • The first flight, Starlink 6-89, is scheduled to lift off from Kennedy Space Center’s LC-39A at 10:08 p.m. EST.
  • A second Falcon 9 is targeted to depart Cape Canaveral’s SLC-40 at 1:21 a.m. EST within the same four-hour window.
  • Falcon 9 booster B1092 will make its eighth flight on the first mission and aims to land on the drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas east of The Bahamas.
  • The follow-up mission is set to use booster B1078 on its 24th flight with a planned landing on Just Read the Instructions.
