SpaceX Sets Thursday Vandenberg Launch of 25 Starlinks, Including Reported 11,000th

A federal advisory lists a next-day backup window if liftoff slips.

Overview

  • Liftoff from Space Launch Complex 4E is scheduled for 8:42:10 a.m. PST on a south-southwest trajectory to low Earth orbit.
  • Falcon 9 first stage B1082 will fly for the 19th time and target a landing on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You about 8.5 minutes after launch.
  • A successful recovery would be the 174th touchdown on that vessel and the 565th booster landing to date.
  • The flight will add 25 satellites to the Starlink network, which SpaceX says includes the 11,000th spacecraft launched since 2019.
  • The southern track may limit views from Arizona, and an FAA operations plan advisory notes a next-day opportunity if needed.
