SpaceX reschedules Starlink mission for June 3 liftoff with cell-capable satellites

The mission is scheduled for 12:42 a.m. EDT on a Falcon 9 booster making its 21st flight following Monday’s scrub.

  • Starlink 12-19 will launch from Cape Canaveral’s Space Launch Complex 40 after a scrub halted the June 2 attempt.
  • Falcon 9 first stage B1071 will undertake its 21st flight and is set to return for a landing on the droneship Just Read the Instructions.
  • The rocket will carry 23 satellites, including 13 equipped for direct-to-cell service, adding to more than 635 such satellites already in orbit.
  • A separate Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base is planned for later Tuesday and could be visible across large parts of Arizona.
