SpaceX Launches Turkey's First Homegrown Communications Satellite

The Türksat 6A satellite will expand Turkey's coverage to millions across Asia and beyond, marking a milestone in the nation's aerospace capabilities.

The Türksat 6A satellite, built entirely in Turkey, was launched by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral.
This launch makes Turkey the 11th nation capable of manufacturing its own communications satellites.
Türksat 6A will provide secure military communication within Turkey and commercial services to regions including India, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
The satellite's design life is 15 years and it will reach a geostationary orbit 22,300 miles above Earth.
SpaceX's Falcon 9 first stage successfully landed on a droneship after its 15th flight.
