SpaceX Executes Third Bitcoin Transfer in 10 Days, Moving 281 BTC to New Wallet

On-chain patterns point to a custody reshuffle through Coinbase Prime with no explanation from SpaceX.

Overview

  • Arkham Intelligence tracked a 281 BTC (about $31 million) move on October 30 to a freshly created address, the latest in a trio of transfers this month.
  • Across the three October transactions, SpaceX shifted roughly $432–$450 million in Bitcoin, following earlier moves of about 2,395 BTC and 1,215 BTC.
  • Lookonchain and other trackers show funds routed through Coinbase Prime, with portions briefly cycling back to a SpaceX-linked wallet and no selling detected from the new addresses.
  • Bitcoin fell roughly 2–4% to near $108,000 around the time of the latest transfer, with traders also pointing to Federal Reserve comments as a factor.
  • Public estimates of SpaceX’s holdings vary from about 7,000 to 8,285 BTC, while Tesla is tracked at 11,509 BTC, and SpaceX has not commented on the recent activity.
