SpaceX Dragon Returns to Earth After Delivering Supplies and Equipment to ISS
- A robotic SpaceX Dragon cargo capsule left the International Space Station today after arriving on June 6th and delivering supplies and experiments.
- The Dragon is making a 14.5-hour return trip to Earth and will splash down off the coast of Florida on Friday.
- The Dragon was carrying over 3,600 pounds of equipment, supplies, and scientific experiments including samples dating back up to six years.
- Among the experiments returning were those related to dexterous manipulation in microgravity and grasping objects in space.
- The Dragon also returned samples from studies on monoclonal antibodies, muscle tone, and nutrition.
