- The SpaceX Dragon capsule successfully launched on a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, carrying over 6,500 pounds of supplies and scientific hardware to the International Space Station (ISS).
- The mission includes testing the ILLUMA-T project, which aims to test high-speed laser communications in orbit, and the Atmospheric Waves Experiment (AWE), which will study gravity waves in Earth's atmosphere.
- The Dragon capsule is also delivering holiday treats for the ISS crew, including pumpkin spice cappuccinos, turkey, and cranberry sauce.
- The Dragon capsule is expected to dock with the ISS on Saturday, November 11, and will stay there for about a month.
- After its stay, the Dragon capsule will return to Earth with nearly 4,000 pounds of cargo loaded on by the ISS astronauts.
