Overview
- The Société protectrice des animaux launched its annual summer campaign on June 24 with a one-minute short film narrated by Gilles Lellouche.
- ‘Tu n’abandonnes jamais’ depicts an animal’s inner voice as it confides its deepest fear of being left behind.
- The campaign premieres on social media now and will roll out on television and in UGC cinemas in July and August.
- In 2024 the SPA collected 43,742 animals across 64 shelters—a 2.5% decrease from 2023—with about 40,000 finding new homes.
- Last summer the organization took in around 8,000 animals during a period of declining adoptions and now aims to thank responsible owners rather than condemn them.
