SP Gastronomia Opens at Parque Villa-Lobos for Two Weekends of Food, Music and Classes

Public–private backing turns the festival into a hub for chefs, small producers, music, workshops.

Overview

  • The event runs Oct 10–12 and Oct 17–19 at the Ilha Musical in Parque Villa-Lobos, opening with Titãs and continuing with Paula Lima and Laura Simões on Saturday, then Beatles para Crianças and Buchecha on Sunday.
  • Tickets remain available via Ticketmaster, with a Children’s Day family combo on Sunday priced at R$110 and free entry for kids up to 10 years old.
  • Nearly 20 acclaimed restaurants serve signature dishes, including Casa do Porco, Mocotó, Aizomê, Quincho, Osso, Capim Santo and Frida & Mina.
  • A producers’ fair offers artisanal goods from names such as Fazenda Atalaia, Tre Sorelle Pasta, Capril do Bosque, Palmitolândia, Cachaça Três Pedras and Azeite Rossini, with bee education and products from Mondury.
  • The program features chef-led sessions including Infiltrado na Cozinha with Paola Carosella, a panel by Alvaro Dertinate Nogueira on Brazilian flavors, and a children’s chocolate-painting workshop with Shirley Oliveira.
