  • The Bureau of Meteorology issued an updated severe weather warning at 4:48 am on Monday for a second cold front set to arrive late morning and eclipse earlier conditions
  • West to northwesterly winds are forecast to average 50–65 km/h with peak gusts near 100 km/h and locally destructive gusts above 125 km/h in Mandurah and nearby towns
  • Six-hour rainfall totals of 30–40 mm are expected to raise the threat of flash flooding in low-lying areas from Albany through Northam
  • EmergencyWA and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services have urged residents to secure outdoor furniture, tie down loose items and prepare emergency kits
  • Conditions should begin easing from Monday evening but may linger into Tuesday morning for some coastal and inland communities
