• A mother told the panel she knew her daughter was "broken in a way that could never be repaired" after seeing her on their doorbell camera begging to lock the doors.
• Another parent described how her eldest, already injured, dragged her sister in front of her to protect her and was stabbed multiple times during the attack.
• Parents of a girl identified as child N said they ran into Hart Space as police arrested the attacker and that their daughter is now frightened in her own home.
• The inquiry heard again that three girls — Bebe King, Alice da Silva Aguiar and Elsie Dot Stancombe — were killed, with 10 others injured and 16 more living with lasting psychological harm.
• Chaired by Sir Adrian Fulford, the inquiry will review the perpetrator’s history, cross‑agency decision‑making and information‑sharing, after disclosures that he had been referred to Prevent on three occasions.
