Southern Miss Upsets No. 19 James Madison 81-71

Victor Hart and Andre Curbelo lead the team to its first win over a ranked opponent since 2011.

Victor Hart led Southern Miss to an 81-71 upset over No. 19 James Madison with 16 points and seven rebounds.
Andre Curbelo contributed 15 points and nine assists to the win.
Southern Miss shot 49.1% from the field and made 25 of 33 free throws.
James Madison, which entered as the Sun Belt’s top scoring offense, was held 20 points under their scoring average and went 2 for 17 from beyond the arc.
This is Southern Miss's first win over a ranked opponent since 2011.
