'Southern Hospitality' Season 2 Premiere: Leva Bonaparte Fires Servers for Drinking on Job

Lucía Peña and Mia Alario were let go for violating the club's no-drinking policy, leaving the staff and viewers in shock.

Leva Bonaparte, co-owner of Charleston’s Republic Garden & Lounge and star of Bravo's 'Southern Hospitality', fired two servers for drinking on the job during the season 2 premiere.
Lucía Peña, a veteran server and season 1 star, was let go before filming resumed. She claimed she was 'terminated via text message' and that she was not given proper warning before the termination.
Mia Alario, another server, confronted Bonaparte about Peña's termination, calling it 'hypocrisy'. When Alario admitted she had also drank on shift, Bonaparte fired her on the spot.
Bonaparte reminded her staff that drinking on the job was a fireable offense, leaving the staff reeling.
Peña, a single mother, is shown throughout the new season trying to get her job back.
