Southampton Sign Bayern Goalkeeper Daniel Peretz on Season-Long Loan

The Israel international seeks regular minutes in England after an inactive spell at Hamburg.

Bayern Munich and Southampton confirmed that Daniel Peretz has joined the Championship club on loan for the remainder of the season.
The move follows an early end to his Hamburg stint, where he did not make a Bundesliga appearance in the first half of the campaign.
Peretz said he is really happy with the switch and stated his aim to help Southampton push for a return to the Premier League.
Southampton’s group technical director Johannes Spors said Peretz brings proven ability and strengthens their goalkeeping department.
Peretz arrived at Bayern from Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2023 for a reported €5m, has seven Bayern appearances, a Bundesliga title, and around 10 caps for Israel.
